Key Responsibilities
- Assist nurses in providing safe, compassionate and patient-centred care.
- Support patients with feeding, bathing, hygiene, mobilisation and other activities of daily living.
- Assist with admission, transfer, discharge and routine patient-care activities.
- Take and record vital signs as assigned and report changes in patient condition.
- Assist nurses during procedures and patient-care activities within scope of training.
- Maintain patient dignity, privacy, cleanliness and confidentiality.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
- Participate in shift handovers and comply with assigned duty rosters.
Requirements
- Certificate in Nursing Assistant/CNA or equivalent recognised training.
- Hospital or healthcare experience is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, reliable and patient-centred.
- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Demonstrated discipline and willingness to learn.
