About the Role
Our client is a design and construction company committed to delivering high-quality spaces through thoughtful design, technical precision, and exceptional execution.
We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Interior Designer with strong technical capabilities and a passion for translating ambitious design concepts into practical, buildable solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong command of technical interior design, working drawings, 3D visualization, materials, and site coordination, with the ability to take a project from concept through to flawless site execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed interior design drawings, working drawings, and fit-out plans using AutoCAD.
- Produce accurate joinery and furniture details, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Translate design concepts into practical and technically sound solutions suitable for site execution.
- Develop high-quality 3D models and renderings to communicate design intent and present concepts effectively.
- Coordinate interior design drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, and other project requirements.
- Work closely with contractors, suppliers, site teams, and other consultants to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Conduct site visits, take measurements, and verify existing site conditions.
- Identify and resolve design and technical issues during construction and installation.
- Prepare material specifications, finishes, and schedules where required.
- Review drawings, samples, and mock-ups to ensure compliance with the approved design.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail throughout the design and construction process.
- Support the project team in ensuring that projects are delivered within the required quality, design, and technical standards.
Qualifications
Education
- Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience
- Mastery of AutoCAD for precise working drawings, joinery details, and fit-out plans.
- Proficiency in 3D Rendering Software to bring concepts to life (3Ds Max, Vray, D5 etc).
Skills
- Strong understanding of interior construction methods, materials, finishes, and detailing.
- Good knowledge of joinery, furniture, fixtures, and interior fit-out processes.
- Strong understanding of site coordination and construction execution.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into technically executable drawings.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
