About the Role
United Women Sacco was registered on March 19, 2001 as a Sacco for Business and Professional women. In 2013 the Sacco opened its doors to incorporate male members. We are seeking a Saccoassurance Officer to join our team and manage the insurance and assurance portfolio for our members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer the Sacco’s insurance and assurance products for members
- Process insurance claims and ensure timely settlement
- Advise members on insurance products and coverage options
- Maintain accurate records of insurance policies and member information
- Liaise with insurance providers and ensure competitive products for members
- Monitor and report on insurance portfolio performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for insurance products
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, or related field
- Diploma in Insurance (AIIK or ACII) is an added advantage
- Previous experience in insurance, assurance, or banking operations
- Knowledge of Sacco operations and member services
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and reporting abilities
